Promoting the central role of the great national unity bloc, the Fatherland Front at all levels of Quang Ninh province always identifies the work of caring for the poor and people in difficult circumstances as a regular political task. With the spirit of solidarity and mutual love in the community, many meaningful and humane activities have been deployed, clearly affirming the role of the Front in ensuring social security and sustainable poverty reduction.

In the emulation movement to welcome the Congress of the Fatherland Front of Quang Ninh province for the 2025-2030 term, these days, the Fatherland Front of many localities in the province has chosen to carry out social security work, taking care of people in difficult circumstances, giving them more motivation to rise up in life. Typically, the Fatherland Front Committee of Tien Yen commune recently presented piglets and supported the livelihoods of 3 households in difficult circumstances in Dong Dinh village. With the support method of "Giving a fishing rod to a fish", the Fatherland Front of the commune aims to encourage the proactive spirit and determination of the poor households themselves, raising their awareness of overcoming their circumstances and escaping poverty sustainably. Therefore, not only stopping at handing over piglets, but the team of cadres of the Fatherland Front of the commune and the village's Fatherland Front Committee also continuously visited, encouraged, and advised households on good livestock raising techniques, how to build barns, prepare food, and how to handle some common signs of disease...

Mr. Nguyen The Anh, Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Tien Yen Commune, said: “The Resolution of the First Congress of the Fatherland Front of the Commune has set out 10 specific goals, 2 breakthrough tasks and 6 action programs. This includes the task of building a self-governing, united, prosperous and happy residential area, especially taking care of social security. The mobilization of social resources, giving seeds and seedlings to near-poor households and those in difficult circumstances to create sustainable livelihoods has shown the urgency and responsibility of the Fatherland Front of the Commune right from the beginning of the new term.”

In Hiep Hoa ward, the content that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and social organizations focused on implementing on this occasion was to solve housing difficulties for near-poor households. Because through the review, it was found that in the area, there were a number of new cases of households in difficult circumstances, whose houses were degraded and damaged by storms, and needed to be repaired or rebuilt promptly to ensure safety. For these households, they inevitably had many concerns and confusion in the related administrative procedures. So the responsible staff of the ward and neighborhoods were directly present to help people solve difficulties. During the construction process, the working group helped the family closely monitor each construction stage and urge the implementation process. The social security task of eliminating all temporary houses that arose was thus ensured to meet the requirements of progress and quality according to the plan.

Not only in the practical emulation movement to welcome the Congress, but also the activities of mutual love and caring for social security have always been one of the key contents of the work of the Quang Ninh Provincial Front in recent years. With the support and high trust of the community, the Fatherland Front continues to be a reliable address to receive valuable contributions from philanthropists, maintaining the Fund for the Poor to operate effectively, openly and transparently. Thereby, the tradition of mutual love and caring is preserved, the strength of solidarity and unity among the people is promoted. True to the motto of the province, which is to always strive to implement, that is, so that all Quang Ninh people can enjoy the fruits of development, inclusive growth, leaving no one behind.

Yen Tu Ward Fatherland Front Committee presented 34 gifts to disadvantaged households on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Traditional Day.

In recent times, the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind" has been actively deployed by the Provincial Fatherland Front, integrated with national target programs, campaigns and movements chaired and coordinated by the Fatherland Front, in order to effectively promote all resources. In the past 2 years, the Front has coordinated and organized carefully Tet care activities for households in difficult circumstances; mobilized and presented nearly 210,000 gifts, worth nearly 145 billion VND on the occasion of Lunar New Year. The Front also mobilized social resources, coordinated to support the construction of 472 Great Unity houses and 93 hygienic toilets for families in difficult circumstances with a total cost of over 27 billion VND, contributing to eliminating 100% of temporary and dilapidated houses arising in the whole province.

Relief and rescue work has been promptly and effectively implemented. For example, the Fatherland Front at all levels promptly implemented measures to overcome the consequences of Typhoon Yagi in 2024; organized visits, encouraged and supported people to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives; requested the Provincial People's Committee to develop and submit to the Provincial People's Council to issue appropriate and timely social security policies. In 2025, responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support people affected by storms and floods, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee launched and received a large amount of donations from the community and allocated over 73 billion VND to support affected households in the province and to support heavily damaged provinces and cities. Or when the incident of the tourist boat Vinh Xanh 58 capsized in Ha Long Bay, the Fatherland Front received 2.7 billion VND in donations from groups, individuals and organizations to visit and promptly support the victims and their families.

Through practical and effective social security activities, the Fatherland Front at all levels of Quang Ninh province has contributed to spreading the tradition of mutual love and the spirit of great national solidarity. Thanks to that, the role of the Front is further affirmed as a solid bridge between the Party, the government and the people, mobilizing the strength of the community to join hands in building a rich, civilized Quang Ninh, advancing with the whole country in the new era.
