The first working day of the 8th Provincial Veterans Association Congress, term 2025-2030

On the afternoon of November 24, the 8th Congress of the Provincial Veterans Association, term 2025-2030, held its first working day with the participation of 203 delegates representing more than 64,000 members in the whole province.

Delegates attending the 8th Congress of Veterans of Tuyen Quang province, term 2025-2030 offered incense and flowers at the Monument to the Provincial Heroes and Martyrs.

On the first working day, the Congress thoroughly grasped the purpose and requirements; approved the regulations and working program; elected the Presidium, Secretariat and the Delegate Qualification Examination Board. The Congress also listened to and discussed the Draft review report of the Provincial Veterans Association Executive Committee; summarized opinions on the report on supplementing and amending the Charter of the Vietnam Veterans Association, term VII; discussed documents at higher levels; and approved the report on the results of the qualification examination of delegates.

Delegates vote to approve the Presidium and Secretariat of the Congress.

Within the framework of the Congress, the Chairman of the Provincial Veterans Association awarded a Certificate of Merit from the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association to comrade Hoang Viet Trung, Director of Tien Thuan Trading Services Co., Ltd. for his outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement "For the poor - No one is left behind" for the period 2021-2025.

The Chairman of the Provincial Veterans Association awarded a Certificate of Merit from the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association to comrade Hoang Viet Trung, Director of Tien Thuan Trading Service Company Limited.

The 8th Provincial Veterans Association Congress, term 2025-2030, will solemnly open tomorrow morning, November 25.

Before that, delegates offered incense and flowers at the Ho Chi Minh Temple and the Provincial Martyrs' Monument.
