Strengthening political and ideological work to meet the requirements of building a clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern public security force.

On the afternoon of November 24, Tuyen Quang Provincial Police coordinated with the People's Public Security Academy (CAND) to organize a conference on practical study and political and social practice for the 6th Concentrated Advanced Political Theory Class. Lieutenant General Phan Xuan Tuy, Director of the CAND Academy of Politics, and Major General Nguyen Duc Thuan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of Tuyen Quang Provincial Police, co-chaired the conference.

Overview of the Conference.

At the conference, the Provincial Police reported on the general situation, security and order in the area; advantages and difficulties in ensuring security and order. The unit also exchanged experiences in advising on the implementation of Resolution No. 16-NQ/DUCA dated January 18, 2025 of the Central Public Security Party Committee on strengthening political and ideological work, meeting the requirements of building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite and modern Public Security force to all cadres and party members in the Provincial Public Security. Delegates heard reports on political and ideological education, training in ethics and lifestyle for cadres and soldiers; advantages, difficulties and solutions in the context that the entire force is implementing the policy of restructuring the apparatus under the direction of the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security .

Speaking at the Conference, Major General Nguyen Duc Thuan, Director of the Provincial Police, emphasized: Over the past time, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Police have always thoroughly grasped the resolutions and directives of the Central Public Security Party Committee, closely followed the direction of the Ministry of Public Security and the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee to synchronously and effectively deploy all aspects of work. He affirmed that political and ideological work is a central and continuous task; an important foundation for building a contingent of cadres and soldiers with strong political will, absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the People. He asked the cadres and students of the Advanced Political Theory class to continue promoting the spirit of learning and research, linking theory with practice, contributing to the common goal of building a truly disciplined, elite and modern Public Security force.

At the Conference, Lieutenant General Phan Xuan Tuy, Director of the People's Public Security Academy, highly appreciated the Tuyen Quang Provincial Police in leading, directing and organizing the implementation of security and order tasks, especially in the context of many difficulties in terms of location, human resources and increasingly high task requirements. He emphasized that practical learning activities at the Provincial Police are an important content in the training program; helping students consolidate theoretical knowledge, while directly accessing organizational models, creative ways of doing things, and practical solutions from the locality. He requested the class to fully and seriously absorb the exchanged contents; flexibly apply them to teaching, consulting and leadership work in the coming time.

The conference is an opportunity for cadres and students of the 6th Concentrated Advanced Political Theory class to study more deeply the practical work of ensuring security and order at the grassroots level, while enhancing the exchange of experiences, contributing to improving the quality of political theory training in the People's Public Security.
