Giving away more than 100 gifts and organizing a "Zero Dong Market" in Con Lon commune

On November 23 and 24, Con Lon Commune Youth Union coordinated with the "Pot of Loving Porridge" Club (Hoa Binh province) to organize a series of meaningful volunteer activities to support disadvantaged households in the area.

The delegation gave necessities to poor households in Con Lon commune.

At the program, the delegation presented more than 100 gifts to families in especially difficult circumstances, households that suffered crop failures and those who were unfortunately ill for a long time. The gifts included: 1.2 tons of rice, 130 warm blankets, sandals and clothes. The total value of the gifts was over 50 million VND.

Within the framework of the program, the Commune Youth Union organized a "Zero-VND Market" attracting a large number of people to participate. This special market model brought great joy, created conditions for people to access many essential goods for free, and at the same time spread the spirit of sharing in the community.

The program not only brings material value but also promotes the spirit of "mutual love" and "helping each other" of the community. Thereby, promoting the spirit of volunteerism of union members and youth in participating in social security activities in the locality.
