Hong Gai Ward: Received more than 1.4 billion VND in funds and goods to support people in flood-affected areas

Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province, on November 24, the Fatherland Front Committee of Hong Gai ward organized a launching ceremony to support people who are suffering heavy losses due to floods.

Many agencies, units, cadres and people participated in supporting the launching ceremony.

Right at the launching ceremony, the Fatherland Front Committee of Hong Gai Ward received more than 1.4 billion VND in support. Of which, 710 million VND in cash; 15 tons of goods and essential necessities, worth about 700 million VND.

This amount of money and necessities will be handed over by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hong Gai Ward to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh Province to support and deliver directly to the people in the flood-affected areas . The entire work of mobilizing, receiving and allocating resources will also be carried out publicly and transparently by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh Province, ensuring timely and appropriate support.

This meaningful activity continues to demonstrate the spirit of humanity and responsibility of the government and people of Hong Gai ward, contributing to giving strength to people in flood-affected areas to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
