Conference on propaganda to implement the National Target Program for ethnic minorities and mountainous areas

On the morning of November 24, in Bac Me commune, the Forest Protection Department of Tuyen Quang province organized a conference to propagate and mobilize ethnic minorities to implement the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021-2030, phase I (2021-2025).

Overview of the conference

Attending the conference were leaders and experts of the Provincial Forest Protection Department; leaders and experts of Forest Protection Region XII and heads of mass forest protection groups of the communes: Bac Me, Duong Hong, Yen Cuong, Giap Trung and Minh Son.

At the Conference, the Reporter of the Provincial Forest Protection Department disseminated and popularized many important contents, including: Component projects of the National Target Program for Socio -Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas; a number of forest protection mechanisms and policies being implemented locally; forest management, protection, forest fire prevention and fighting; violations of the law on wildlife protection...

Through the Conference, delegates were raised awareness of the role of the Program, especially the role of village elders, village chiefs, prestigious people and ethnic minorities in protecting and developing forests. This is also an opportunity to strengthen the mobilization of people to actively participate in developing forest economy and forestry economy, contributing to improving the lives and effectively implementing the socio-economic development goals of ethnic minority and mountainous areas of the province.
