In the atmosphere imbued with the love and cultural identity of Quan Ho people, the delegation and artists performed the incense offering ceremony, listened to the introduction of the Grand Tutor Le Van Thinh relic site and But Thap pagoda. From that sacred space, the traveling singing program was opened with smooth ancient Quan Ho melodies, performed by the Lien Anh and Lien Chi singers in the traditional call-and-response style.

Mr. Nguyen Sy Luong, Chairman of Phu My Singing Club, shared: Since childhood, I have been passionate about Quan Ho singing, and that culture has permeated my daily life. Therefore, being able to interact with Lien Anh and Lien Chi right in the homeland of Quan Ho is not only an honor but also a way to spread the cultural values ​​of the heritage to the community.

Recognized by UNESCO as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity since September 2009, Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs have had a proud journey of preservation and development. The meaningful lyrics and the image of the conical hat, the red silk band, the crow-beak scarf, the ao the and the turban have long become symbols of the Quan Ho region, a land rich in tradition and preserving many Vietnamese cultural values.

As a delegate participating in the program, Mr. Ngo Thanh Giang (Tam Á quarter, Thuan Thanh ward) shared: Interacting with the Lien Anh and Lien Chi from the ancient Quan Ho villages has brought many deep understandings about the precious heritage of the homeland. Through the melodies sung in the right way, people have the opportunity to approach many different Quan Ho voices, from the way of singing, the way of responding to the beauty of costumes, the traditional Quan Ho playing style. Mastering the tunes and understanding each singing form is an important foundation for artisans to preserve in the right direction, at the same time teaching the tunes and standards to the next generations, helping Bac Ninh Quan Ho continue to spread sustainably.
