The application uses augmented reality (AR) technology combined with artificial intelligence (AI), developed entirely by BSM Labs with “Make in Vietnam” technology. This is considered a new step forward in digital transformation in the field of heritage conservation and promotion.
According to Dr. Le Xuan Kieu, Director of the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, the application of augmented reality technology opens up a more modern approach to heritage, helping visitors not only observe but also interact directly with historical information layers. The AR experience recreates ancient spaces in real contexts, thereby increasing the attractiveness to domestic and international tourists, especially young people.

The project “Vietnam Wonderful History” sends the message “Preserving heritage with technology - Connecting the past with the future”, in line with the spirit of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day this year. On the launch day, visitors can experience the application for free at 3 AR points located in the front yard of the Teacher's House.
3 experiences include: village school classroom, simulating the traditional educational space and old teaching methods; candidates taking exams, recreating the atmosphere of the exam hall and the challenging journey of the imperial examination; returning home to honor ancestors, recreating the procession of new graduates returning to the village in a solemn atmosphere. Each location is equipped with iPads and display screens, and users can download the application to their personal devices to experience it for free.
