In particular, the level of leaf blast disease was higher than in the 2023-2024 Winter-Spring crop.
However, under the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee; the close coordination of sectors, the efforts of agricultural cooperatives, farmers and enterprises, the 2024-2025 Winter-Spring crop production achieved comprehensive success.
The whole province has cultivated 135,836 hectares. The whole province strives to cultivate 134,500 hectares of rice, striving for a yield of 6.8 tons/hectare or more, completing cultivation before February 25, 2026; rice output strives to reach 900,000 tons or more; rice production value strives to increase by 1.5% compared to the 2024-2025 Winter-Spring crop.
