Attending the program were leaders of the provincial Social Insurance; representatives of banks: Industry and Trade, Foreign Trade, Investment and Development, Agriculture and Rural Development, Ninh Binh Branch; Social Insurance at Tam Diep and Phu Long commune.
Implementing the plan of Vietnam Social Security on launching the program "Giving health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances - bringing a warm Tet to the poor in the Spring of Binh Ngo", Ninh Binh Provincial Social Security launched the program of giving health insurance cards in 2025.
Up to now, the provincial Social Insurance has received a total of 569,883,600 VND in donations, of which 520,000,000 VND was transferred by Vietnam Social Insurance and 49,883,600 VND was donated by benefactors in Ninh Binh province.
From the supported and donated funds, the provincial Social Insurance and local Social Insurance have coordinated with communes and wards to make a list of people in difficult circumstances to receive health insurance cards.
Priority is given to giving cards to people affected by natural disasters, storms and floods, health insurance participants who are supported by the state budget with a high contribution rate and local budgets with additional contribution support but are not yet able to participate, such as: people in near-poor households; ethnic minorities living in communes that are no longer identified as areas with difficult or especially difficult socio-economic conditions; students; non-professional workers in villages and residential groups; people who have just escaped poverty, near-poor and people in difficult circumstances.
On this occasion, the provincial Social Insurance will present 902 health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances in the province. Of which, health insurance cards will be presented to 180 people in Phu Long commune who are in difficult circumstances and are ethnic minorities living in communes that are no longer identified as areas with difficult or especially difficult socio-economic conditions.
