Agribank representative, Mr. Nguyen Tien Truong - Head of Central Region Representative Office - presented support to Khanh Hoa province
In early November 2025, prolonged heavy rains caused deep flooding, flash floods and landslides in many provinces in the South Central and Central Highlands, seriously affecting people's lives and production activities. While the floodwaters had not yet receded and relief work was still facing difficulties, Agribank decided to allocate 11 billion VND from the Social Security Fund to provide emergency support to the following localities: Khanh Hoa 3 billion VND, Phu Yen 2 billion VND, Binh Dinh 2 billion VND, Lam Dong 2 billion VND and Lam Dong II 2 billion VND. The funds were used to provide necessities, support health care and education and help people stabilize their lives soon.
Khanh Hoa is the locality that suffered the most damage with more than 2,500 houses flooded, 350 hectares of aquaculture damaged, more than 5,000 people evacuated and many human losses. On the morning of November 22, 2025, the Agribank delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Tien Truong - Party Secretary, Head of the Central Office - presented 3 billion VND in support at the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province.
At the meeting, Mr. Truong shared the difficulties with the government and affirmed that Agribank will continue to accompany them through interest rate reduction, debt restructuring and lending to restore production. Local representative, Ms. Tran Thi Tu Vien - Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa - said that Agribank was the first unit to provide timely support during this natural disaster.

Representative of Agribank Central Office presented gifts of encouragement and support to officers and employees of Agribank Khanh Hoa Branch
On the same day, the working group visited people in flooded areas and inspected the damage at some branches and transaction offices of Agribank Khanh Hoa. At Dien Khanh Branch, where floodwaters rose more than 1.2 m, damaging ATMs and electronic equipment, the unit is carrying out repairs in stages due to the complicated weather.
Agribank has been present at natural disaster hotspots for many years. In the Central Highlands region alone, the bank has just provided VND13 billion in support to the provinces of Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai and Dak Lak. The continuous support demonstrates Agribank's proactive spirit and social responsibility.
The timely presence of the bank in this difficult period helps localities have more resources to respond, quickly deploy relief work and stabilize life. This practical support contributes to helping people quickly restore their livelihoods and restart production.

Representatives of Agribank Central Office presented gifts to encourage and support people affected by floods.
Over the years, Agribank has maintained its pioneering role in social security work, annually spending hundreds of billions of VND to support natural disasters, care for health and education, and build new rural areas.
Since the beginning of 2025, the bank has spent more than VND80 billion to support natural disaster recovery, out of a total of more than VND500 billion for social security nationwide. This is a testament to Agribank's persistent efforts in accompanying the community and contributing to increasing the disaster resilience of localities.
