According to the report of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province, in the first 9 months of 2025, the economic growth rate (GRDP) of Tay Ninh province is estimated to reach 9.52%, the highest in the first 9 months of the 2021-2025 period (exceeding the target scenario assigned by the Government in Resolution No. 226/NQ-CP dated August 5, 2025 of the Government and the double-digit growth scenario of the province); leading the Southeast region (Ho Chi Minh City reached 7.07%; Dong Nai reached 8.86%) and ranked 8/34 nationwide.
Agricultural production maintained positive growth momentum; key crops and livestock grew and developed well. Rice output was estimated at 3.51 million tons, reaching 93.1% of the plan; commercial aquatic product output reached 94.5% of the plan and increased by 9.6%. The cumulative index of industrial production (IIP) since the beginning of the year increased by 14.74%.
Investment promotion activities continued to be promoted. Of which, domestic investment: 3,816 new enterprises were established (up 52%), with a total capital of VND 26,984 billion (up 120%); foreign investment: 163 new projects were granted (up 41 projects); capital was adjusted for 151 projects (up 46 projects), investment capital was 589.4 million USD (up 111.9 million USD).

Total retail sales of goods and consumer services revenue is estimated at VND206,765 billion, up 15.65%. Exports still maintain a stable growth rate and trade surplus (exports are 14.59 billion USD, up nearly 10%, equivalent to an increase of 1.31 billion USD; imports are 11.08 billion USD, up 14.6%, equivalent to an increase of 1.41 billion USD).
Total state budget revenue as of November 20 reached VND46,274,118 billion, achieving 124.3% of the central government's estimate, up 32.3% over the same period.
As of November 18, Tay Ninh had disbursed 11,556,646 billion VND, reaching 70.9% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister (Tay Ninh is one of the localities with the highest rate of public investment disbursement in the country).
Regarding the program "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses": Completed the repair and construction of 924 houses (774 new houses, 150 repaired houses). Of which, Long An province before the arrangement had 330 houses (310 new houses, 20 repaired houses) and Tay Ninh province before the arrangement had 594 houses (464 new houses, 130 repaired houses).
Regarding support for new construction and repair of houses for poor and near-poor households: From 2021 to early 2025, support was given for the construction of 3,038 new houses (Long An province before the arrangement: 1,266 houses, Tay Ninh province before the arrangement: 1,772 houses).

The province has resolutely directed the implementation of key projects; key national traffic projects and regional connectivity projects.
Currently, the province has 46 established industrial parks (IPs) with a planned area of 14,507.2 hectares, of which 32 IPs are eligible to receive investment with a planned area of 9,473.1 hectares, the occupancy rate reaching 69.98% (attracting 2,500 projects: 1,409 FDI projects with an investment capital of 17,532.56 million USD; 1,091 domestic projects with an investment capital of 218,252.61 billion VND).
Up to now, the province has completed 11 social housing projects for workers and low-income people with a construction scale of 4,358 units (Decision No. 444/QD-TTg dated February 27, 2025 of the Prime Minister assigned the target for Tay Ninh to complete social housing in 2025 of 3,743 units (Long An 2,000 units, Tay Ninh 1,743 units). It is expected to prepare investment and start construction of 7 projects, with an area of 27.515 hectares and a scale of 6,740 units (Long An 05 projects, Tay Ninh 2 projects).
After nearly 5 months of implementing the two-level local government model, the province has proactively and synchronously deployed many solutions to ensure the stable and smooth operation of the political system, without leaving any legal gaps, maintaining the effectiveness and efficiency of state management. The work of organizing the apparatus and arranging personnel in vacant positions has ensured progress according to regulations. The work of ensuring facilities, working conditions and deploying public administrative services has been carried out seriously, with focus and key points; administrative discipline and order have been strengthened.
At the meeting, after listening to opinions from central ministries and branches, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh basically agreed with the report on the results achieved, the orientations and suggestions at the meeting, aiming to unlock resources and promote the potential and advantages of the province in the new development stage.

The Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged, commended and congratulated the results that Tay Ninh province has achieved in recent times; and requested the province to urgently find solutions to overcome the limitations and shortcomings that have been pointed out.
The Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated Tay Ninh province for its resolute direction in implementing key projects of the province; key national traffic projects and regional connectivity projects such as: Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 section through Tay Ninh province (formerly Long An); Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4...
The Deputy Prime Minister requested that for key projects being implemented, units need to increase human resources, work in 3 shifts during favorable weather conditions, strive to complete on schedule, and focus on implementing other infrastructure projects such as: Electricity, information technology, industrial park and cluster infrastructure, etc. to avoid spreading out.

Regarding year-end tasks, the Deputy Prime Minister requested to promote solutions and strive to achieve the highest possible growth rate. The province needs to assign specific tasks to sectors and localities.
Further promote the implementation of important strategic resolutions recently issued by the Politburo such as Resolutions 57, 59, 66, 68, 70, 71, 72... Promote administrative procedure reform to facilitate businesses, remove difficulties and obstacles, and promote institutional breakthroughs.
Focus on operating two-level local government to ensure smooth, effective, uninterrupted operations that do not affect the activities of agencies, people and businesses.
Continue to review, evaluate, and restructure the existing staff. Focus on completing the missing positions, perfecting and stabilizing the organizational structure; building a strong staff at the grassroots level. Research and find breakthrough solutions in recruiting and evaluating staff. Inventory and effectively use public assets, and prevent waste.
Requiring Tay Ninh to increase the disbursement of all public investment capital, develop tourism, strengthen trade promotion, and attract investment, the Deputy Prime Minister also asked the province to innovate its thinking and working methods, focusing on new industries and fields, high technology, manufacturing, green economy, circular economy, high-tech agriculture... preserving and promoting cultural and historical values; focusing on social security issues, and doing well in poverty reduction. Continue to promote programs to build social housing, housing for workers and low-income people.
Well organize the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Council deputies of provinces and communes for the 2026-2031 term.
Regarding the province's recommendations, the Deputy Prime Minister assigned relevant ministries and branches to coordinate in resolving them according to their assigned functions, tasks and powers.
