This certification confirms that the product fully meets the strict requirements of accuracy, authenticity and safety according to international standards, which are key requirements when training seafarers, officers and ship operators. DNV is the world's leading prestigious maritime classification and rating organization, founded in 1864 in Norway, operating in more than 100 countries and playing a role in setting technical standards in the fields of maritime, energy and heavy industry.

This is the first time Vietnam has owned a maritime simulation system that meets the highest international standards. This certification enhances the value of the simulation system for training and ship operating units in the country and the region.
The internationally standardized system allows training courses to be built in accordance with the requirements on safety and ship operation capacity issued by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), creating conditions for training results and seafarer capacity assessment to be widely recognized. As a result, training centers can confidently expand their training programs, while shipping lines or seaports have more options to organize internal training instead of completely depending on foreign facilities.

Viettel High Tech's simulation system is designed as a complete ship control room in a digital environment, realistically reproducing all operations and reactions of the ship during operation. Trainees can practice control in many complex conditions such as bad weather, strong currents, limited visibility or incident situations that are difficult or impossible to reproduce in real ship training. Thanks to its comprehensive simulation capabilities and high level of authenticity, Viettel's system has passed all DNV assessment levels and is classified as Class A - the highest of the 5 levels according to DNV-ST-0033 standards. This makes Vietnam one of the few countries in Asia that has the capacity to research and develop a standard cockpit simulation system, along with China, India, Singapore, Japan, and Türkiye. While the remaining countries still largely depend on purchasing or importing technology from outside.

DNV divides the maritime training simulation system into 5 levels and Class A is the highest level, allowing for full and realistic training of all maritime tasks that can be performed on real ships. Viettel's system has met all technical requirements, directly evaluated by DNV experts through more than 120 measurements and 56 technical indicators belonging to 3 main groups of requirements: Physical Realism (the level of accurate simulation of physical characteristics of ships and the environment), Behavioural Realism (the level of accurate reproduction of human behavior, systems and related objects) and Operating Environment (the level of realistic simulation of geographical conditions, weather and operating environment). All items were evaluated as meeting the requirements, in which many contents exceeded the standards.
