Nhu Lan facility donated 300 million VND to support flood damage recovery.

On the morning of November 24, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dau, owner of Nhu Lan facility, came to Sai Gon Phong Newspaper to directly donate 300 million VND to support people affected by storms and floods in 2025.

With the desire to contribute and share some of the material and spiritual losses of people in the flood-hit areas, especially in the Central provinces, from early morning on November 24, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dau prepared 300 million VND in cash, then gave it to the Editorial Board of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper. This is the amount of money that on the afternoon of November 23, she presented a symbolic plaque along with 3,500 boxes of shredded pork (worth 560 million VND), through Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper, to support people in the flood-hit areas.

Receiving the above amount, Ms. Bui Thi Hong Suong, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper, respectfully thanked the warm and precious hearts of Ms. Dau and Nhu Lan facility for always trusting and accompanying the social and charitable activities organized by Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper, most recently the program "Warm clothes to school", an activity of the program "Lighting up the belief - Overcoming difficulties to go to school" that the Newspaper is implementing.

Ms. Bui Thi Hong Suong was moved to inform that in recent days, in addition to joining forces with the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper has also proactively organized direct and timely relief for people in areas severely damaged by recent consecutive storms. In particular, the Newspaper has paid special attention to supporting schools, students and their families, helping students return to school soon.

“Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper will promptly provide support to students and their families as the sponsor wishes,” Deputy Editor-in-Chief Bui Thi Hong Suong affirmed. Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper hopes to continue receiving the support of Ms. Nguyen Thi Dau and Nhu Lan in upcoming charity activities, including continuing to support house construction and repair, helping people in flood-affected areas to soon stabilize their lives.

Previously, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dau donated 2,000 warm coats to support the "Warm coats to school" program of Saigon Giai Phong newspaper. Up to now, the newspaper has donated more than 1,500 warm coats to students in storm and flood areas in many localities across the country.
