On the evening of November 21, at Le Loi Street (HCMC), the Opening Ceremony of the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City International Martial Arts Festival took place. With the theme "Vietnamese Martial Arts - Connecting Peace ", the festival attracted international martial arts delegations from Korea, China, Japan, India, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia and more than 20 domestic delegations, along with thousands of martial arts masters, coaches, students and martial arts lovers. On the opening night, people in Ho Chi Minh City and many tourists had the opportunity to witness beautiful and impressive martial arts performances by martial arts masters and students. At the outdoor stage, the audience enjoyed impressive and beautiful performances from well-known martial arts such as Vovinam, Taekwondo, Karate, Judo, Wushu, Muay, Aikido, Pencak Silat... With the spirit of chivalry, the festival aims to erase differences in culture, language or skin color. All meet in common values of humanity: respect, discipline and the desire for peace. In addition to the martial arts performance program in the opening event, this year's Ho Chi Minh City International Martial Arts Festival will also hold an international martial arts festival on November 22-23, with performances of forms, techniques and ensemble performances of Vietnamese schools and disciplines. The festival will close on the evening of November 23, honoring outstanding martial artists, excellent troupes and performing the art "Vietnamese martial arts spirit - spreading the quintessence from Ho Chi Minh City to the world".
