Vietnam Aerobic Team strives to maintain form at SEA Games 33
At the 32nd SEA Games held in Cambodia, the Vietnamese Aerobic Gymnastics team had an explosive performance, winning all 5 Gold Medals, making an important contribution to helping the Vietnamese sports delegation rise to the top of the region.
However, at the upcoming SEA Games, the Thai organizing committee has reduced the number of competitions to only two: men's and women's doubles and teams of 5.
This means that the chance to defend the absolute achievement of Aerobic Vietnam will be more difficult, but the determination of the whole team has not diminished.
Under the guidance of the coaching staff, the athletes are actively practicing, perfecting their techniques, increasing the difficulty and artistic elements in each performance.

Efforts to accelerate in the sprint phase
To prepare for the 33rd SEA Games, the national Aerobic team of 14 athletes and 2 coaches was established in April, divided into two training groups in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

In Ho Chi Minh City, the 5-person collective squad – a rejuvenated force – is actively perfecting new technical combinations. Although having to temporarily practice at a replacement facility due to the Hoa Lu Sports Center being upgraded and repaired, the team still maintains a high volume and intensity of training, with the spirit of “difficulties are just challenges, not barriers”.
Thanks to the support of the Department of Sports and Physical Training and the Ho Chi Minh City National Training Center, the team has been provided with specialized facilities and a standard nutritional regimen, helping the athletes have the best conditions to make a breakthrough in the final stage.
Currently, the team is assembling and perfecting each detail of the test, focusing on smooth coordination, precision and high artistry.
With determination, careful preparation and bravery, the Vietnam Aerobic team aims to win 2 gold medals, thereby hoping to bring good results, contributing to the overall achievements of Vietnamese Sports at the 33rd SEA Games.
