At 8:15 p.m. on March 31, the meteorological agency reported that the highest temperature reached 39 degrees Celsius to nearly 40 degrees Celsius in many areas on the last day of March.

According to meteorological experts, heat waves have appeared widely from the Northwest region to Thua Thien Hue and many places in the North Central region; at the same time, heat waves in the South have also developed to Quang Nam and Quang Ngai (temperature in Phu Yen is 37.5 degrees Celsius).

Updated temperature data from the General Department of Hydrometeorology as of the evening of March 31, the highest temperatures caused by heat today, March 31, nationwide are as follows:

However, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting and some meteorological experts said that on April 1, the heat wave in the North and Central regions will be more severe, peaking on April 2. Therefore, people in these areas need to proactively find solutions to adapt to this early heat wave.
