In 2026, 2,050 union members across the province will receive support to participate in the Trade Union Tet Market through the distribution of shopping vouchers worth 500,000 VND each, pre-integrated with the registered phone number of each member. Priority will be given to union members in difficult circumstances, low-income members, and those with outstanding achievements in labor and production. The number of union members receiving support accounts for 17.4% of the total number of union members in the province, an increase of more than 11% compared to 2025. This creates opportunities for more union members to benefit from the welfare policies of the trade union organization.
Mr. Luong Chi Cong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Union, Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee, and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, said: Immediately after receiving the plan from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial Labor Union directed grassroots trade unions to promptly disseminate information, review eligible members, and prepare conditions to support members during the purchasing process. A notable new feature this year is the direct support role of trade union officials. For members who are unfamiliar with technology or do not have time to learn how to shop, trade union officials can assist in purchasing goods based on the members' needs, ensuring that benefits reach the right people and the right beneficiaries.
Accordingly, nearly 50 shopping vouchers were issued to union officials to familiarize themselves with the login process, installation, and how to select and place orders. On January 5, 2026, a trial shopping session was held for the support team to experience the process, thereby preparing them to provide hands-on guidance when the official market opens for union members to start shopping from 9:00 AM on January 6, 2026.
To ensure focused and efficient shopping, many units have proactively created separate shopping groups on the Zalo platform to exchange experiences and provide detailed step-by-step instructions to union members. Mr. Hoang Van Kiem, Head of the Population Department and Vice Chairman of the Trade Union at the Cao Loc Regional Health Center, stated: "As soon as the Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026 officially opened, in addition to disseminating information on Zalo groups, the unit also assigned trade union officials to directly guide members through the process. As of January 8th, 61 out of 64 union members who received discount vouchers from the unit had successfully purchased goods; the remaining 3 cases were due to issues with registered phone numbers, and we are coordinating to make adjustments to ensure all members receive the benefits."
To purchase goods at the online Trade Union Tet Market, union members can access the website https://chotet.congdoan.vn or the "Trade Union Tet Market" application on their mobile devices. Approximately 2,000 items are available, ranging from Tet food and fashion to household goods, at prices 10% to 41% lower than the market price. All items must meet quality standards and be suitable for Tet consumption; priority is given to essential products directly manufactured and distributed by reputable domestic businesses, contributing to the "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" campaign. These measures provide union members with more opportunities to choose necessary items for their families.
Ms. Vi Thi Hang, a member of the Trade Union at Tuoi Than Tien Kindergarten in Luong Van Tri Ward, happily shared: "As kindergarten teachers, due to the nature of our work, it's very difficult for us to find time to go to the market to choose Tet supplies every year. With the shopping vouchers and the specific guidance from the union officials, I and other eligible members discussed and chose the most suitable items. Currently, I have completed my order for a set of stainless steel cookware to serve my family meals during Tet. The purchasing process was easy, convenient, and the prices were favorable. Thanks to the care of the trade union organization, I feel warm and reassured as I look forward to Tet."
The Trade Union Tet Market – Spring 2026 will be open until March 4th, 2026. Currently, although there are no statistics on the number of union members who have successfully purchased goods, with the coordinated efforts of all levels of trade unions and the positive response from union members, the shopping atmosphere is vibrant. With flexible organization and close support, the Trade Union Tet Market – Spring 2026 in Lang Son is being implemented on schedule and targeting the right beneficiaries, demonstrating innovation in care while maintaining the spirit of closeness and sharing, contributing to a warm and hopeful spring season.
