Each item is implemented in a sequential manner, with construction teams closely adhering to the overall schedule. For the construction units, this is a crucial phase to complete the main tasks, laying the foundation for accelerating progress immediately after the holiday.
At Ta Han Bridge, a crucial component of the Bac Kan - Ba Be Lake - Na Hang road project, from Km37 to the end of the route, the contractor has increased manpower and equipment, organizing multiple parallel construction teams. To date, the work volume has reached over 60%; the bridge piers and abutments basically meet technical requirements and the schedule.
Mr. Tran Van Cong, a technical officer at Construction Company 99, a subsidiary of Truong Son Construction Corporation ( Ministry of National Defense ), said: "The unit has arranged for continuous 3-shift construction and increased machinery to accelerate the progress of the main structure. Despite the significant time pressure and complex terrain, technical work and labor safety are always strictly controlled to ensure the quality of the project."
The Bac Kan - Ba Be Lake - Na Hang road project plays a crucial role in connecting different regions, expanding tourism development areas, facilitating goods transportation, and promoting socio -economic development in the mountainous region. Currently, the section from Bac Kan to Ba Be Lake, from Km0 to Km37, has been completed and put into operation. The section from Km37 to the end of the route is under construction with 6 out of 6 construction packages; the total volume of work completed along the entire route has reached 53.52% of the contract value. Management has been strengthened by closely monitoring the site, promptly addressing any arising issues, and ensuring the overall progress of the project.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Truong, Deputy Director of the Northern Region Investment Project Management Board for Transportation and Agriculture Construction, informed that the investor regularly inspects the site, urges progress, and requires contractors to allocate sufficient personnel and equipment, striving to complete the planned milestones before Tet.

A bustling construction atmosphere is also evident at the Cho Moi - Bac Kan route investment and construction project. Phase 1, spanning 28.8km and featuring 4 lanes, is underway. In the package undertaken by Company 484, from Km13 to Km15+200, numerous vehicles, machinery, and a large team of engineers and workers have been mobilized; roadbed and other structures along the route are being implemented simultaneously, with approximately 40% of the work completed.
Mr. Nguyen The Anh, Deputy Director of 484 Joint Stock Company, said: "The unit is taking advantage of favorable weather conditions and organizing reasonable overtime to ensure progress; quality and labor safety are prioritized, and all construction stages strictly adhere to technical procedures. Despite the complex mountainous terrain and large volume of construction, the teams maintain a high sense of responsibility and close coordination between departments. Even with increased workload in the days leading up to Tet (Lunar New Year), the construction site remains stable and orderly..."
In the days leading up to Tet (Lunar New Year), the continuous pace of construction on transportation projects demonstrates the determination of investors and contractors, creating a clear transformation in the area's infrastructure. Maintaining progress before the Tet holiday provides a foundation for projects to accelerate from the beginning of the new year, gradually completing the transportation network and creating momentum for sustainable development of the locality in the coming period.
