On the morning of June 2.6 in Ho Chi Minh City, ForGood Vietnam cooperated with the US Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City to organize a closing ceremony and awarding prizes for the best works out of a total of 28 short films participating in the 2023 season.
Advisory board, including 12 directors, writers such as Aaron Toronto (film producer I'm not 18 yet, Writer Tam Cam – The Untold Story), directed by Tran Thanh Huy (film Rom), filmmaker Trinh Dinh Le Minh (film Go to my mother), actress, screenwriter Ly Thu Uyen (film) Brilliant night)… awarded the students after a long process of accompanying you.
The awarding journey summarizes the Storytellers project that ForGood Vietnam in collaboration with the US Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City implemented, opening sessions to teach young people how to make movies until they have the best quality products. Each work is a color, a personality, not "touching" ideas.
Because this is a program exclusively for students, the goal is to train visual storytelling skills, so the organizers and directors and screenwriters have been with you for 6 months.
Mr. Huynh Le Khanh, co-founder of ForGood Vietnam, shared that this event is a playground for young people to express their views on society. According to him, in the context of explosive multimedia communication today, images play a very important role in conveying ideas, life concepts and outlook on life of young people.
