Ms. Phan Thi An, the school principal, said that in addition to one-on-one tutoring for each child for an hour each day, teachers also regularly visit the classrooms, observe, and provide additional instruction to children on speaking, motor skills, observation, etc., in class with their classmates.

As an inclusive preschool model, Tay Thanh Preschool (Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City) collaborates with an inclusive counseling and support center to provide educational intervention for children with developmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, language disorders, behavioral disorders, and intellectual developmental disorders.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Dan, the school principal, said that in addition to one hour of daily instruction with a special needs teacher, these children participate in classroom activities like other children their age. "The teachers also dedicate extra time to teaching speech, playing games, and physical activities with the children. I always tell the teachers that even though their daily work is more demanding, they should think about the children's future and strive a little harder," Ms. Cam Dan shared.
