Efforts to develop the Party within enterprises in Ha Tinh City.

From the beginning of the 2020-2025 term to the present, the Party Committee of Ha Tinh City has developed 7 new Party organizations and 48 new Party members in non-state enterprises. This result is thanks to the close attention and guidance of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Party committees at all levels regarding Party development in this type of enterprise.

The leaders of Thach Trung commune presented the decision to establish the Party Branch of Giang Nam Petroleum Company Limited in Ha Tinh.

In May 2022, the Party Cell of Giang Nam Petroleum Company Limited's branch in Ha Tinh was established. This is the first grassroots Party cell in a private enterprise ever established by the Party Committee of Thach Trung commune.

After more than a year since its establishment, the Party branch has continuously promoted its role as a political nucleus, leading and propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, the Party Charter, the State's laws and regulations, and local rules and regulations among its members. In particular, the Party branch has done well in developing new Party members and is currently finalizing the paperwork to propose the admission of three more members.

Focusing on Party development within enterprises, since the beginning of the term, the Party Committee of Ha Huy Tap ward has established one subordinate Party branch and developed 11 Party members. Pham Van Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Ha Huy Tap ward, shared: “There are nearly 80 small-scale enterprises in the ward, making Party development very difficult. However, based on practical experience, the ward's Party Committee has focused on thorough review and propaganda to ensure that after establishment, the Party branch can effectively fulfill its role and achieve its goals. The Party Committee will continue to implement comprehensive solutions to strive for Party development within enterprises.”

In addition to focusing on developing the Party organization, the work of developing Party members in enterprise Party branches is also given priority by Party committees at all levels.

The Party cell ofACB Bank Ha Tinh always maintains close contact with its staff, understanding their thoughts and aspirations in order to guide and cultivate their ethics and ideology.

In early 2020, the Party Cell of Asia Commercial Bank (ACB) Ha Tinh Branch was transferred to the direct control of the Ha Tinh City Party Committee. After nearly three years of operation, with the dedication and responsibility of the Party cell secretary and its members, the cell has recruited three new members, bringing the total number of Party members to 15. Currently, the cell is finalizing the dossiers to propose the admission of five more Party members; and has nominated five outstanding individuals to participate in a Party awareness training course. The team of cadres and Party members is dynamic and creative, becoming a core and pioneering force in emulation movements and in building a strong agency and unit. Of the 15 Party members, eight hold leadership positions.

Comrade Dang Dinh Chien - Secretary of the Party Branch and Deputy Director of ACB Bank, said: “To create a source of Party members for the branch, in addition to promoting the role of mass organizations, the most important thing is the exemplary conduct and responsibility of the leader and establishing order in the activities of the Party branch. As the branch secretary, I regularly understand the thoughts and aspirations of the staff; guiding them to understand the correct motives and purposes of joining the Party so that they can cultivate, train, and strive for excellence.”

It is known that Ha Tinh city currently has 1,425 operating businesses, including 21 businesses with Party organizations directly under the City Party Committee, and 8 Party branches directly under the Party committees of communes and wards. Implementing the Resolution of the 21st City Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term on the target of developing Party members, in recent years, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee has consistently paid attention to leading and directing the work of developing Party members in all types of grassroots Party organizations. As of the beginning of the term, the City Party Committee has established 7 Party organizations in businesses, admitted 48 new Party members in Party committees and branches of non-state enterprises, bringing the total number of Party organizations to 29 and the total number of Party members to 373.

Over the past period, grassroots Party organizations in enterprises in the area have basically performed their roles and responsibilities well, improving their leadership and guidance capacity in implementing political tasks and Party building work, making a positive contribution to the overall development of the city.

In the coming period, the Party Committee of Ha Tinh City will continue to focus on leading, directing, and creating conditions for Party organizations and mass organizations in enterprises to innovate the content and methods of their activities; encourage business owners and workers to participate in emulation movements, actively engage in activities, and strive to become Party members; and improve production and business efficiency. At the same time, it will continue to review and accurately assess the current state of organization and operation of Party organizations and mass organizations in enterprises, proposing specific and appropriate solutions to guide the consolidation, improvement, and enhancement of the quality of their activities, identify, nurture, and create a pool of potential Party members, and establish Party branches within enterprises.
