Extending the unbeaten streak

Tottenham are the surprise of the season. They are one of only two teams unbeaten so far, alongside Arsenal. Spurs are just one point behind league leaders Man City and will take the top spot if they beat Fulham.

This is clearly a dramatic transformation for Tottenham. Just five months ago, they finished the previous season in 8th place. The team displayed a lackluster performance, low morale, and a disjointed style of play.

However, the arrival of coach Postecoglou – who didn't have much of a reputation in the coaching world – transformed the London team. They played proactive, attacking football with a commitment to quality.

In addition, Postecoglou also found a replacement for Harry Kane. Son Heung-min played the role of the main striker, while James Maddison became the team's playmaker.

On the other side, Fulham are not much different. They remain a mid-table team, in the bottom half of the table. Their goal is nothing more than to avoid relegation and strive for a top-10 finish.

In tonight's London derby, the balance of power is heavily tilted in favor of Tottenham. Furthermore, Son Heung-min and his teammates have the added advantage of playing at home.

Tottenham vs Fulham form

Tottenham are currently unbeaten in the Premier League this season. In their last five matches, they have won four and drawn one, with that draw being against Arsenal. At home, they have won all three of their games, two of which were against Manchester United and Liverpool.

Meanwhile, Fulham just secured a 3-1 victory against Sheffield United. In their last five matches across all competitions, they have won three, drawn one, and lost one. However, the opponents they defeated were all teams at the bottom of the table or playing in lower leagues. Fulham's away form is also poor, having failed to win in their last three away games.

This season, the two teams met in the League Cup, with Fulham defeating their opponents on penalties. However, manager Postecoglou used a full-reserve squad and didn't have high ambitions for that encounter.

Tottenham will be without Yves Bissouma due to suspension. He is a key player in the Spurs' midfield. Ivan Perisic and Rodrigo Bentancur are also unavailable due to injury.

Fulham are facing a defensive crisis as Issa Diop and Tosin Adarabioyo are injured. Previously, defender Kenny Tete and goalkeeper Steven Benda were also sidelined due to similar injuries.
