Clean agricultural products are taking off.

In 2025, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Farmers' Association honored 35 outstanding agricultural products. The selected products are diverse in type and belong to many different sectors such as specialty teas, processed foods, fresh produce, handicrafts, and medicinal products.

Overall, the participating units have made systematic investments in each stage of production. The products mainly use local raw materials, promote deep processing, ensure traceability, and have clear labeling.

Many products demonstrate creativity and uniqueness, bringing high economic value or having achieved food safety certifications such as VietGAP and OCOP, ranging from 3 to 5 stars.

With increasingly improved designs and packaging, the brand has gradually been built, establishing a stable market both within and outside the province.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Diep, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, said: The Association has actively coordinated with relevant departments and specialized agencies to promote propaganda, replicate successful models, and meet market demands, thereby developing products towards commercialization and contributing to increasing farmers' income.

The recognition of outstanding agricultural products of Thai Nguyen province in 2025 is not simply a title, but also a testament to the persistent hard work and innovative spirit of the farmers of this tea-growing region.

Behind every truly clean product lies a challenging journey, where dedication and responsibility are paramount.

A clear example is the production model at Toan Lieu Cooperative in Tan Cuong commune. Rejecting traditional farming methods, since 2023, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lieu has pioneered a pilot project to raise pigs using green tea as a feed ingredient.

Adding green tea powder to the pigs' diet helps them stay healthy, grow well, produce lean, flavorful meat, reduce disease outbreaks, and decrease antibiotic use. Through perseverance and a sense of responsibility towards public health, fresh, clean, chemical-free red pork products have been developed.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Lieu, Chairwoman and Director of Toan Lieu Cooperative, shared: "Being certified by the province as a typical agricultural product has helped the cooperative promote its products more effectively and enhance its reputation with consumers. In the future, we will continue to cooperate with more farmers to expand the model, maintain quality, and broaden the market."

Sharing a common aspiration to elevate the value of local agricultural products, Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh at Banan Food Company has dedicated considerable time to researching and experimenting to transform green bananas into nutritious noodles. This persistent process has resulted in a completely natural product, free from artificial colors or preservatives, preserving the original flavor of the VietGAP-certified raw material source in Van Lang commune.

Ms. Binh stated: "For the past five years, the company has consistently maintained product quality, selected raw material sources that meet organic standards, and implemented production processes that fully comply with food safety and hygiene requirements."

Honoring outstanding agricultural products has become a bridge bringing agricultural products, the culmination of farmers' sweat and ingenuity, closer to consumers.

In the future, these products will not only establish their position in the provincial market but also gradually access major supermarket chains, target international markets, and be associated with green experiential tourism models.

When genuine quality goes hand in hand with a sustainable brand, Thai Nguyen's agricultural products will continue to reach further, affirming its position as a modern, safe, and distinctive agricultural sector.
