Dear fellow citizens, comrades, officials, soldiers, and the business community of Ninh Thuan province,
In the joyful atmosphere of welcoming the Lunar New Year of the Dragon 2024, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front respectfully express their deepest gratitude to the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, labor heroes, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, families of martyrs, and families with meritorious contributions to the revolution; and affectionately send to all compatriots, comrades, cadres, soldiers, and the business community, as well as to the sons and daughters of Ninh Thuan living, studying, and working throughout the country and abroad; and to friends living and working in Ninh Thuan, their warmest regards and best wishes for the New Year.
The year 2023 left many bright spots in the province's socio-economic development amidst complex and unpredictable developments in the world and the region. The Party Committee, the people of the province, and the business community upheld the tradition of patriotism, solidarity, and self-reliance, striving to overcome difficulties and challenges to achieve positive results in various fields. The economy continued to grow at a relatively high rate. The GRDP growth rate increased by 9.4%, ranking 9th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide and 2nd out of 14 provinces in the North Central and Central Coastal regions; the construction, trade, tourism, energy, and industrial sectors continued to recover and grow significantly. Social security was ensured, and the lives of the people in the province improved. National defense and security were strengthened; social order and safety were maintained. The political system continued to be consolidated and improved. The appearance of urban and rural areas is increasingly flourishing.
The achievements of the past year have significant political and social implications; creating favorable conditions for Ninh Thuan province's economy to continue developing rapidly and sustainably in 2024 and the following years. The Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front respectfully acknowledge and warmly commend the people, comrades, cadres, soldiers, and the business community for their continuous efforts and outstanding achievements in labor, production, work, and study, making important contributions to the socio-economic development of the province in 2023.
The year 2024 is designated as a year of "acceleration," of great importance, determining the results of achieving the goals and tasks set out in the 2021-2025 term of the province; the entire Party committee, government, people, and military in the province will work together to overcome all difficulties and challenges, promoting the revolutionary spirit of daring to think, daring to act, and daring to take responsibility to build a clean and strong Party committee and political system; setting the goal of improving the material and spiritual lives of the people to effectively and practically implement patriotic emulation movements; We are determined to successfully achieve the goals and tasks for 2024. This will create momentum and enthusiasm to achieve and surpass the targets and objectives of the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress, the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2021-2025, and the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, striving to make Ninh Thuan a relatively developed province in the region and the country, with an average income in the upper-middle group nationwide.
With that determination and belief, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front hope to receive the support of the people, comrades, cadres, soldiers, and the business community, continuing to make positive contributions to the development of the province. We wish the people, comrades, each family, and every citizen of Ninh Thuan a new year of good health, happiness, peace, and prosperity.
