In the joyful atmosphere of the Lunar New Year 2024, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province respectfully send our deep gratitude to the heroic Vietnamese mothers, labor heroes, war invalids, sick soldiers, families of martyrs, families with meritorious services to the revolution; cordially send to all compatriots, comrades, cadres, soldiers and the business community, along with the children of Ninh Thuan homeland who are living, studying and working in all parts of the country and abroad; friends who are living and working in Ninh Thuan the warmest feelings and best wishes for the new year.
The year 2023 has left many marks and bright spots in the province's socio-economic development in the context of complicated and unpredictable developments in the world and the region. The Party Committee, people in the province and the business community have promoted the tradition of patriotism, solidarity, self-reliance, efforts, overcoming difficulties and challenges to achieve positive results in all fields. The economy continues to grow well. GRDP growth rate increased by 9.4%, ranking 9th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide and 2nd out of 14 provinces in the North Central and Central coastal regions; the fields of construction, trade, tourism, energy, and industry continued to recover and grow well. Social security is ensured, the lives of people in the province are increasingly improved. National defense and security are strengthened; social order and safety are maintained. The political system continues to be consolidated and improved. Urban and rural appearance is increasingly prosperous.
The results achieved in the past year have important political and social significance; creating a favorable premise for Ninh Thuan province's economy to continue to develop rapidly and sustainably in 2024 and the following years. The Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province respectfully acknowledge and warmly commend the people, comrades, cadres, soldiers and the business community for their continuous efforts and achievements in production, work and study, making an important contribution to the socio-economic development of the province in 2023.
2024 is determined to be the year of "acceleration", which is very important, deciding the results of implementing the goals and tasks set out in the 2021-2025 term of the province; the entire Party Committee, government, people and army in the province join hands and overcome all difficulties and challenges, promote the revolutionary spirit of daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility to build a clean and strong Party Committee and political system; set the goal of improving the material and spiritual life of the people to effectively and practically implement patriotic emulation movements; determined to successfully implement the goals and tasks of 2024. Thereby, creating motivation and momentum to achieve and exceed the targets and objectives of the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress, the 5-year Socio-Economic Development Plan 2021-2025, the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, striving to make Ninh Thuan soon become a fairly developed province in the region and the whole country and have an average income in the upper middle group of the whole country.
With that determination and confidence, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province hope to receive the support of compatriots, comrades, cadres, soldiers, and the business community, to continue to make positive contributions to the development of the province.
