On the morning of February 13th (the 4th day of the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Dragon), many tourists were observed swimming, sightseeing, and taking photos at Doi Duong Beach and Da Ong Dia Beach (Phan Thiet city).

The Nguyen Dinh Chieu road (running through Vietnam's resort "capital") is also very busy with cars, mainly from Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ninh Thuan, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, and Lam Dong. Along this route, attractions such as Suoi Tien (Fairy Stream) and Mui Ne fishing village attract large numbers of tourists. Similarly, many visitors enjoy activities like kitesurfing on the sea and off-road driving on the white sand dunes.

At the NovaWorld Phan Thiet Coastal Tourism and Entertainment Urban Area (Tien Thanh commune, Phan Thiet city), the Vibe Fest opened on the morning of February 12th (the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Dragon). On this occasion, NovaWorld also launched Fantasy World (a complex of entertainment, sports, and team building activities) with a total area of ​​over 42 hectares and a capacity of up to 500,000 people. In addition, the event included: a Hip-Hop festival; games featuring a variety of traditional folk games from all three regions of Vietnam; a water festival; gifts; food; and a circus.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Vibe Fest, Mr. Phan Nguyen Hoang Tan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phan Thiet city, said: The festival marks the beginning of a series of large-scale tourism events in the province in 2024, making an important contribution to the development of Binh Thuan's tourism industry. The event will last until the 8th day of the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Dragon.

With the motto "One destination - millions of joys," the festival features seven attractive and fun programs and a series of unique activities for all ages to experience from morning to night. Each night, the festival will have music performances by more than 50 artists. It is expected that the festival will contribute to boosting tourism in the province, aiming to welcome over 9.5 million visitors in 2024.

According to the Management Board of Bau Trang Ecotourism Site (Hoa Thang commune, Bac Binh district), during the Tet holiday, more than 6,000 visitors came to visit and experience the entertainment services at Bau Trang ecotourism area, an increase of more than 50% compared to the same period. The most notable activity was the off-road vehicle driving experience. Among them, nearly 1,000 were international visitors from countries such as South Korea, Russia, and Japan.

Mr. Nguyen Minh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province, gave lucky money to tourists staying at K-Town resort on the first day of the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Dragon.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province, it is estimated that from February 8th to 13th (corresponding to the 29th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Rabbit to the 4th day of the 1st lunar month of the Year of the Dragon), the entire province welcomed approximately 180,000 visitors. Accommodation facilities reached 85% occupancy, with many resorts operating at maximum capacity until the 8th day of Tet. Besides traditional festivals and competitions, many resorts organized new programs to attract tourists, such as making banh chung (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes), lion and dragon dances, and musical performances.
