Mr. Hoang Nam Tien, Vice Chairman of theFPT University Board, suddenly passed away at 4:10 PM on July 31st due to heart failure, according to information confirmed by FPT Group.
Mr. Hoang Nam Tien was born in 1969. He joined FPT immediately after graduating from the Information Technology department of the Hanoi University of Technology in 1993. At the young age of 26, he was assigned the role of Head of Sales Department at the company.
After years of hard work, by the age of 30, he had risen to the position of Head of Sales at FPT Group. However, what troubled him was that he hadn't accomplished anything for himself despite having established connections and a stable family. At the age of 32, Hoang Nam Tien decided to resign from FPT and go to the United States for three months to study.
After returning to FPT, Mr. Tien made changes and led the sales department to a new stage, making a significant contribution to the group's revenue.
Mr. Hoang Nam Tien was elected Chairman of FPT Telecom on March 3, 2020. From April 2023 to the present, he has been appointed Vice Chairman of the FPT University Council (FPT Education).
In addition, Mr. Tien is also known as an administrator, technology expert, and educator. On social media, his everyday stories and valuable life lessons have received much attention from the online community.
