According to Decision 135/QD-HDTV signed by EVN Chairman Dang Hoang An on November 30, 2023, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Chairman of the Board of Members of Hanoi Electricity Corporation - will assume the position of General Director of EVN from December 1, 2023. The term of appointment is 5 years.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan was born on May 1, 1967, in Thanh Oai, Hanoi.

From August 1990 to February 1996, he worked as a Specialist in the Planning Department, Basic Construction Department - Hanoi Power Company (now Hanoi City Power Corporation).
From February 1996 to August 2000, he served as Deputy Head of the Basic Construction Department; Team Leader of the Bidding Team, and Head of the Project Management Department - Hanoi City Power Company.
From August 2000 to March 2003, he served as Deputy Head of the Project Management Board of Hanoi City Power Company.
From March 2003 to July 2008, he served as Head of the Planning Department at Hanoi City Power Company.
From July 2008 to March 2010, he served as Deputy Director of Hanoi City Power Company.
From April 2010 to October 2013, he served as Deputy General Director of Hanoi City Power Corporation.
From November 2013 to September 2019, he served as Party Secretary, Chairman and General Director of Hanoi City Power Corporation.
From November 2015 to the present, he has served as a member of the Hanoi City Party Committee.
From October 2019 to the present, he has served as the Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Members of the Hanoi City Power Corporation.
In addition, he was also a representative of the Hanoi City People's Council, 15th term (2016-2021).
