DNVN - On October 9, technology company OpenAI officially announced its global expansion with plans to set up four new offices.

According to the announcement, OpenAI will open new offices in Paris (France), Brussels (Belgium), Singapore and New York (USA). Previously, the company laid the foundation with an office in London (UK) and another facility in Dublin (Ireland).
Founded in 2015, OpenAI quickly became the center of global attention in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) with the launch of the ChatGPT chatbot in late 2022. With the ability to generate natural, human-like content based on simple requests, ChatGPT has become a useful and popular tool, attracting more than 250 million active users per week and becoming one of the fastest downloaded applications in history.
In addition to ChatGPT, OpenAI is also developing image-generating tools and working on video- generating technology. A funding round earlier this month brought in $6.6 billion in cash and a $4 billion line of credit, bringing OpenAI’s total valuation to an impressive $157 billion.
