OpenAI expands its global reach.

DNVN - On October 9th, the technology company OpenAI officially announced its global expansion with plans to establish four new offices.

According to the announcement, OpenAI will open new offices in Paris (France), Brussels (Belgium), Singapore, and New York (USA). Previously, the company had laid the groundwork with an office in London (UK) and another facility in Dublin (Ireland).

Founded in 2015, OpenAI quickly became a global focal point in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) thanks to the launch of its chatbot, ChatGPT, in late 2022. With its ability to generate natural, human-like content based on simple requests, ChatGPT has become a useful and popular tool, attracting over 250 million active users weekly and becoming one of the fastest-downloading applications in history.

In addition to ChatGPT, OpenAI is also developing image generation tools and researching video creation technology. A funding round earlier this month secured the company $6.6 billion in cash and a $4 billion credit line, bringing OpenAI's total valuation to an impressive $157 billion.
