OpenAI is about to launch another new product to compete with Google.

According to TechSpot , in the last two years, OpenAI has continuously made a name for itself with impressive artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT and Dallas-E. And recently, The Information reported that the company is quietly developing a search engine, promising to become a formidable competitor to Google after more than 20 years of dominance.

This new tool is said to use parts of Bing's platform (Microsoft's search engine, one of OpenAI's major investors) but will offer a similar experience to Google. Although OpenAI hasn't officially confirmed it, ChatGPT's increasing capabilities for intelligent web browsing, contextual search, and chat demonstrate their ambitious goals in this field.

Although Microsoft hasn't been successful in boosting Bing with AI, OpenAI's search engine could offer a truly formidable competitor to Google in the next decade. However, Google isn't sitting idly by either, investing heavily in AI for its search engine. Recently, they renamed the Bard chatbot to Gemini and launched a new Android app capable of replacing Google Assistant on Android devices.
