Comprehensive support tools
The Operation AI system officially launched at the end of February, providing timely support to employees ofFPT Group's software companies in learning and using AI tools such as CodeVista, Copilot, and AI Coding Assistant.
Accordingly, Operation AI is seen as a significant step forward in helping individuals and teams maximize the power of AI, while also fostering a widespread culture of adopting new technologies throughout the company.
Before the system was implemented, programmers and project teams at FPT Group's software company frequently encountered difficulties in obtaining technical support related to AI tools. In-depth questions, technical assistance requests, and documentation requirements to convince clients to use AI in their projects took considerable time due to the lack of a clear support point. This not only impacted work efficiency but also diminished the confidence of FPT Software employees in implementing AI in real-world projects.
In response to this situation, the Operation AI system has been implemented to thoroughly address these issues. By simply sending an email directly to the operations department, the support team will quickly receive, analyze, and respond promptly with a specific solution. When sending an email, users need to clearly state their support request, describe the situation in detail, and provide information about the time, context of the error, working environment (operating system, browser, IDE, software version), along with screenshots, videos , or log files (if available). Providing complete information helps the Operation AI team quickly identify the cause and provide an accurate solution, minimizing waiting time for users.
After sending the email, users will immediately receive a confirmation response from the system. If the information provided is incomplete or requires additional information, the support team will contact the user via internal communication applications to request the necessary details. Once the issue is resolved, Operation AI will send back the results or detailed instructions to enable the user to proactively resolve the problem quickly.
Sharing about the initial challenges in deploying the system at FPT, Mr. To Trong Hieu, AI FSO 2025 program coordinator at FPT Group, stated: “Because the IT system at FPT Software has many layers, it somewhat slows down the troubleshooting process for users. The Operation AI team actively exchanged information and coordinated internally with relevant parties to detect and provide timely support, ensuring that the work of our team members was not interrupted.”
Future orientation
In the near future, FPT Group's software company plans to expand and upgrade Operation AI, adding advanced features to better support its software engineering team. This significant investment in AI will not only help FPT Group solidify its leading position in the technology industry but also contribute to the overall development of the AI ecosystem in Vietnam.
