The buying price was 86.8 million VND/ounce and the selling price was 88.8 million VND/ounce, an increase of 200,000 VND/ounce in both directions.

DOJI 's 9999 gold is trading at 86.9 - 88.9 million VND/ounce (buy - sell), unchanged from yesterday.

At Mi Hong Company, the price of SJC gold was recorded at 87.1 million VND/ounce for buying and 88.5 million VND/ounce for selling, a slight increase of 100,000 VND/ounce in the buying price.

Bao Tin Minh Chau also adjusted the price of SJC gold to 86.9 - 88.9 million VND/ounce, an increase of 100,000 VND/ounce compared to the previous day.

SJC gold at Phu Quy maintains its price at 86.4 - 88.9 million VND/ounce.

The price of SJC gold rings weighing 1-5 taels is currently trading in the range of 86.3 - 88 million VND/tael, a slight increase compared to before.

According to Kitco, the spot price of gold in the world market at 1 PM today (Vietnam time) was $2,771.52 USD/ounce. The price of gold today remains unchanged compared to yesterday. Converted using the USD exchange rate on the free market (25,440 VND/USD), the world gold price is approximately 85 million VND/ounce (excluding taxes and fees). Therefore, the price of SJC gold bars is currently 2.9 million VND/ounce higher than the international gold price.

Gold prices hit their highest level in nearly three months and approached record highs following comments from Donald Trump, which appeared more conciliatory regarding US-China trade relations. These comments supported gold prices but put pressure on the US dollar index.

According to experts, the recent sharp rise in gold prices is due to concerns about escalating inflation as new economic policies by US President Donald Trump come into effect. Trump proposed a 25% tariff on imports from Canada and Mexico, along with a 10% tariff on goods from China. These measures are projected to push inflation in the US from 2.9% to 3.7% by the end of 2025.

In addition, Trump's economic stimulus packages and tax cuts, while aimed at boosting growth, increased the national debt, leading investors to flock to gold as a way to protect their assets against inflation.

Gold prices are also being supported by a weakening US dollar. The USD Index fell to 107.47 points this morning, making gold a more attractive option for international investors.

Jim Wyckoff, a senior analyst at Kitco, noted that the market was somewhat calmed overnight after Trump appeared to soften his stance on China. He said in an interview with Fox News that he "preferred" not having to resort to tariffs.
