After graduating with a degree in aeronautical engineering from the Air Defense-Air Force Academy, Truong Quoc Anh quickly demonstrated his capabilities when he was assigned the position of Workshop Manager. In his role, he directly managed and commanded the team responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of electrical, electronic, and automation systems on aircraft—a field requiring absolute precision and directly related to flight safety.
Aware of its responsibilities, Quoc Anh consistently maintains strict technical work discipline, organizes and implements tasks according to procedures and regulations, ensuring quality in every stage; focuses on training and improving the skills of its staff; develops scientific work plans, maintains a good technical efficiency, and meets mission requirements.
Not only is he adept at management, Lieutenant Truong Quoc Anh also stands out for his passion for scientific research and technical innovation. Based on practical experience, he proactively seeks out and proposes many practical and highly applicable solutions. A prime example is his initiative, the "Mobile Device for Testing AI-9 Engine Ignition Coils," which features a compact design, making it convenient for missions far from base, enabling quick detection and troubleshooting of malfunctions, and improving technical maintenance efficiency.
He also researched and developed an automated engine inspection and repair device for the AI-9, contributing to improved accuracy, reduced labor, materials, time, and costs; while minimizing mechanical impact on the aircraft's fuselage and extending equipment lifespan. This initiative won the A Prize at the Nguyen Phan Vinh Award in 2023.
Not stopping there, Quoc Anh continued to lead the design of equipment for testing and repairing electrical systems controlling engine parameters and automatic engine adjustment systems on several types of highly complex aircraft and construction machinery requiring deep expertise. This initiative also won the A Prize at the Nguyen Phan Vinh Award in 2025.
He directly handled many complex malfunctions on critical systems, contributing to equipment restoration and creating backup resources for the unit. In performing technical support duties for major operations, he coordinated closely with other forces, ensuring absolute safety.
Lieutenant Quoc Anh is also an exemplary officer and Party member, actively studying and following the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh ; dynamic in youth union work, contributing to building a united and strong unit.
Thanks to these efforts, Lieutenant Truong Quoc Anh was awarded the title of "Outstanding Soldier at the grassroots level" by his superiors, was honored as a "Promising Young Face of the Navy" in 2024 and 2025; and received numerous Certificates of Merit and Commendations from various levels.
