A unique blend of Kinh, Khmer, and Chinese cultures.

Ca Mau is a land where three ethnic groups—Kinh, Khmer, and Hoa—have long lived together. Throughout their lives, the interaction between these communities has created a rich, diverse, yet unified cultural life. This is not only a distinctive feature of the region but also an important endogenous resource for building a sustainable cultural environment in contemporary society.

The Thien Hau Goddess Festival in An Xuyen ward is one of the clearest examples of cultural exchange in the Ca Mau region. Although originating from the folk beliefs of the Chinese community, the festival has now become a shared cultural space, attracting a large number of people from various ethnic groups to participate. Within the festival space, traditional cultural values do not exist in isolation but meet, share, and complement each other, contributing to the formation of Ca Mau's unique cultural identity.
