Director Ham Tran played a key role in the resounding success of the film "Battle in the Air," which grossed nearly 252 billion VND. Following this success, the People's Police Film Studio continued its collaboration with Ham Tran on a new film project titled "Saigon Female Commandos."

According to the producers, "Saigon Female Commandos" is set in Saigon in the 1970s, a period when the resistance war against the US was at its most intense and challenging. The role of female commandos is portrayed in this context, with the film opening with the reunion of two sisters who were separated in the smoke and fire of war. At that time, they stood on opposite sides of the battle lines without knowing it.

The film is currently in the casting and production stages, and is expected to premiere around the April 30th holiday next year.
