The short film competition "Today's Talents"

To commemorate the 950th anniversary of the founding of Quoc Tu Giam - Vietnam's first university (1076-2026), the Vietnam Film Development Promotion Association, in collaboration with the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports and the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Cultural and Scientific Activities Center, is organizing the short film competition "Today's Talents".

The competition is open to Vietnamese citizens both domestically and abroad, encouraging participation from young people aged 15 and above. Entries can be in the following genres: feature films, documentaries, animation, or a combination of these, with a duration of 3 to 15 minutes. Entries must be in full HD or higher quality, suitable for distribution on digital platforms and public screenings. The use of AI in the creation process is permitted but limited to less than 20% of the total film duration. Entries should explore diverse themes such as the spirit of learning, the aspirations of young people, and the image of teachers, both past and present.

The organizers will accept entries until August 10, 2026.
