
Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh and delegates paid their respects to the late Chairman of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, former President and former Prime Minister of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, General Khamtay Siphandone.
The delegation included: Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Affairs Committee Quang Van Huong; Vice Chair of the Law and Justice Committee Nguyen Phuong Thuy; Vice Chair of the Economic and Finance Committee Pham Thuy Chinh; Vice Chair of the National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Committee Nguyen Quoc Hung; Vice Chair of the Science, Technology and Environment Committee Ta Dinh Thi; Vice Chair of the Culture and Society Committee Trieu The Hung; Vice Chair of the People's Petition and Supervision Committee Tran Thi Nhi Ha; Vice Chair of the National Assembly Office Nguyen Manh Hung; and a full-time National Assembly member working at the Committee on Representative Affairs Tran Van Lam.
Signing the condolence book at the Embassy, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh expressed his profound sorrow over the passing of General Khamtay Siphandone - an outstanding senior leader, an exemplary son, a staunch revolutionary fighter of the Lao Party and people; a great, close, and loyal friend of the Vietnamese Party, State, and people.

On behalf of the Vietnamese National Assembly, the National Assembly Party Committee, the National Assembly Standing Committee, and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, National Assembly Vice Chairman Nguyen Khac Dinh extends his deepest condolences to the Party, State, National Assembly, and people of Laos; and sends his most sincere sympathies to the family of Comrade Khamtay Siphandone.

On behalf of the Party, State, and People of Laos, the Lao Ambassador to Vietnam, Khamphao Ernthavanh, respectfully thanked Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh and representatives of the National Assembly's agencies and the National Assembly Office for signing the condolence book for the late Chairman of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, former President, and former Prime Minister of Laos, General Khamtay Siphandone, demonstrating Vietnam's affection for Laos; and expressed confidence that the two countries will forever cherish and continuously cultivate the special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos, ensuring its ever-increasing depth and practicality.
