Author Huynh My Thuan's work "A Panoramic View of Hoi An Ancient Town" will give you a complete view of Hoi An Ancient Town, the most attractive feature being the architecture of the temples, which blend Vietnamese, Japanese, and Chinese cultures. The most famous is the Japanese Bridge, a unique architectural work that attracts tourists to the ancient town. One particularly unique temple gate is called the Ba Mu Temple Gate. This ancient temple, built in 1626, has, over the long course of time and the ravages of nature for more than 300 years, only remains as the temple gate. The Ba Mu Temple Gate, reflected in the lake, resembles a watercolor painting. It's a popular spot for tourists, especially young women in traditional ao dai dresses, to take souvenir photos, creating a vibrant scene from sunrise to sunset. The photo series was submitted by the author to the Happy Vietnam Photo and Video Contest, organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications .
Every street, every alley, every rooftop... all contribute to the wonderful image of Hoi An - a World Cultural Heritage site.
