The Deputy Director of the Economic Security Department has been appointed as the Director of the Lang Son Provincial Police.

On December 28th, the Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with Lang Son province, held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security regarding personnel matters.

The Ministry of Public Security announced the decision of the Minister of Public Security to transfer and appoint Colonel Nguyen Tien Trung, Deputy Director of the Economic Security Department (Ministry of Public Security), to take up the position of Director of the Lang Son Provincial Police Department.

In his acceptance speech, Colonel Nguyen Tien Trung pledged to continuously improve his political acumen, professional knowledge, and work capacity, quickly grasp the job, and work closely with the Board of Directors of the Lang Son Provincial Police Department in following the directives of the Central Party Committee of Public Security, the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee of Lang Son.

Colonel Nguyen Tien Trung, Director of the Lang Son Provincial Police, delivered a speech upon assuming his new position.

Colonel Nguyen Tien Trung (born in 1978, from Ky Anh district, Ha Tinh province); holds a Master's degree, a Bachelor's degree from the People's Security Academy; a Bachelor's degree from the National Economics University, a Bachelor's degree from the National Academy of Public Administration, and a Senior Certificate in Political Theory.

Previously, Colonel Nguyen Tien Trung was appointed to the positions of Deputy Head and Head of Department under the Economic Security Department; from June 2022 to the present, he has been the Deputy Director of the Economic Security Department.
