(To Quoc) - Hang Ma Street (Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi ) is beautifully illuminated with lights and overflowing with red, attracting thousands of tourists to check in for the Mid-Autumn Festival early.

These days, Hang Ma Street is sparkling and dazzling with the colors of thousands of traditional Mid-Autumn Festival toys that cover the entire street.

According to some small business owners, Typhoon No. 3 caused relatively serious disruptions to this year's Mid-Autumn Festival.

"Typhoon No. 3 caused trees to fall and blew away over 300 million VND worth of decorations from my shop. Immediately after the storm, my staff and I had to repair everything to attract customers. However, shopping activity and the number of tourists visiting Hang Ma Street decreased sharply during that period," said a small business owner on Hang Ma Street.

The wide variety of colorful items attracts customers.

"Purchasing power has dropped sharply compared to previous years, but we're not worried because we know the decrease is due to businesses not organizing Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations but instead donating the money to flood relief efforts following Typhoon No. 3. As for the goods I sell, I can store them away and use them again when the time comes," said Ms. Loan, a small business owner on Hang Ma Street.

Traditional Mid-Autumn Festival toys and domestically handcrafted items such as masks and lanterns are sold in much larger quantities than modern toys, accounting for 60-70% of the stalls.

Children love it when their families take them to the "Mid-Autumn Festival" street on weekends.

The shops lining the streets are packed with handcrafted products, offering locals and tourists alike the opportunity to learn about and deeply appreciate Hanoi's culture.

Besides traditional lantern designs, Hang Ma Street also features many creative lantern designs with a distinctly modern feel. Cartoon characters, cute animals, and other figures are vividly depicted on these lanterns.
