On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province, in coordination with localities, successfully organized many activities. In particular, the 2025 Binh Duong Traditional Boat Race and Binh Duong New City Half Marathon attracted nearly 5,000 athletes from inside and outside the province to participate.

In addition to the main content of the boat racing and marathon competition, when people come to watch the competition on the Bach Dang River, Phu Cuong Ward, they can also review the heroic images and historical milestones of Thu Dau Mot City and the country through vividly displayed images and content.

According to the reporter's records, in localities, many organized activities have attracted a large number of people to participate. Specifically, at Lai Thieu embankment park (Thuan An city), an art program took place to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification with the theme "The Country is Full of Joy". The program was organized by the Center for Culture, Information and Sports of Thuan An city. Before that, a flower car competition to promote propaganda in 2025 was also held with the theme "The Great Spring Victory of 1975 - the strength of great national unity, the aspiration for peace , national independence and the will to unify the country".

The contest attracted 10 communes and wards of Thuan An City to participate with 10 flower cars decorated grandly and meaningfully. As a result, Binh Nham Ward won the first prize; second prize went to An Phu Ward; third prize went to Vinh Phu Ward. After the scoring, the flower cars for propaganda and promotion paraded around the main roads of Thuan An City.

Also on this occasion, the Center for Culture, Information and Sports of Di An City organized 5 mobile art performances to serve workers. This activity aims to enrich the cultural and spiritual life of workers in boarding houses and densely populated areas in Di An City.

In early May, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province continued to organize two sports tournaments: the 2025 Binh Duong Provincial Billiards Championship and the 2025 Binh Duong Provincial Traditional Martial Arts Championship.

It is known that the tournaments are held to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).
