Phuong Oanh - a prominent model of 2023

Walking the runway for shows like Helmut Lang and Diesel, Phuong Oanh has become the Vietnamese model who landed the most major shows in the international market this year.

According to Models , Phuong Oanh (nicknamed Dahan Phuong Oanh) is among the top 4 most sought-after models for the Spring/Summer 2024 fashion season, with a total of 15 shows in London, New York, and Milan. In addition, she has landed 10 shows for the Autumn/Winter 2023 season across all four of the world's biggest fashion weeks.

Since the beginning of the year, she has walked the runway for many renowned brands, including Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang, Helmut Lang, Diesel, and Prabal Gurung. This achievement has made her the most successful Vietnamese model of the year. Last year, she won the " Talented Fashion Star 2022 " award.

The model said that her days running shows in New York were both stressful and joyful. She said, "Being late or almost running late is a sign that I'm in high demand. So I hope that happens to me often."

Phuong Oanh, originally from Dien Bien, became known after participating in Vietnam's Next Top Model All Stars season in 2017. She began developing her career internationally in 2020 and achieved considerable success. The beauty has walked the runway in four of the world's biggest fashion capitals: London, New York, Milan, and Paris Fashion Week. Her runway shows have been for brands such as Marc Jacobs, Elie Saab, Dolce & Gabbana, Stella McCartney, and Erdem. She was also the first Vietnamese model to participate in a Gucci advertising campaign.
