On June 4th, the Steering Committee 197 of Tung Thien ward continued to inspect and handle violations of urban order in the area.

Specifically, the authorities focused their inspections on Tung Thien, Thanh Vi, and Huu Nghi streets, provincial roads 413 and 414, the Xuan Khanh market area, and many public areas in the locality.
The inspection primarily focused on the improper placement of flower pots, ornamental plants, planters, shelves, advertising signs, construction materials, and other items on roads, sidewalks, and shared alleyways. These violations have been quite common recently, narrowing pedestrian space, affecting urban aesthetics, environmental hygiene, and posing potential traffic safety risks.
During the course of their duties, the task forces both disseminated information and reminded residents and businesses to voluntarily remove infringing items to restore unobstructed access to sidewalks and roads.

On the same day, the People's Committee of Tung Thien Ward, in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, organized a ceremony to launch the emulation movement "All citizens join hands to protect the environment, for a green, clean, and beautiful capital" with the theme " Hanoi joins hands to act for clean air and green transportation".
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the forces simultaneously carried out a comprehensive environmental cleanup along Thu Trung Street and public areas, collecting waste, clearing bushes, and beautifying the urban landscape.
Notably, Tung Thien ward is not only handling violations through targeted campaigns but is also implementing sustainable management solutions. Before conducting inspections, the ward People's Committee issues notices and disseminates information through the public address system, neighborhood groups, and directly to each household to encourage voluntary rectification of violations. Violators are given the opportunity to clean up and move their property before any enforcement measures are applied.

The Steering Committee 197 of Tung Thien Ward maintains regular inspections and reviews in key areas and streets where violations frequently occur, aiming to promptly detect, handle, and prevent the re-encroachment of roads and sidewalks. Simultaneously, environmental sanitation and urban landscape beautification efforts are implemented comprehensively, contributing to maintaining a clean and attractive urban appearance and gradually bringing urban order management into order.
According to Nguyen Trung Thanh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tung Thien Ward, the locality has requested organizations, households, and individuals to voluntarily clear and remove all items encroaching on sidewalks and roads before June 10, 2026. "The ward's stance is to decisively address long-standing violations, ensuring sidewalks are for pedestrians and roads are for traffic."

"Inspections and enforcement will be carried out regularly and continuously, not as a temporary campaign. The goal is not only to restore urban order in the short term but also to build a sense of self-discipline in compliance within the community, contributing to building Tung Thien ward into an increasingly civilized and modern area," Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh emphasized.
