In 2025, PV Gas will continue to make a remarkable mark with many records set, thereby affirming its management capabilities and foundation for sustainable development.

Reporting at the 2025 Workers' Conference, Mr. Pham Van Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors, and General Director of PV GAS, stated that 2025 will take place amidst fierce competition, increasingly evident pressure for energy transition, and the shrinking of traditional growth drivers. However, PV GAS will not only maintain stability but also make strong breakthroughs, achieving many groundbreaking results.

Business operations continue to affirm their role as the main growth driver for PV GAS, with expansion in both domestic and international markets. The LPG/LNG business segment maintains strong growth momentum, with international business emerging as a new pillar, reflecting a significant shift in the development orientation towards the global market.

Financially, PV GAS recorded its highest revenue and profit figures in its 35-year history, demonstrating stable growth and improved operational efficiency.

Simultaneously, the efficiency of infrastructure exploitation and asset utilization continues to be optimized. Investment and development work is implemented proactively, with a focus and a long-term roadmap, gradually laying the foundation for the formation of integrated energy industrial centers, in line with PV GAS's sustainable development orientation in the coming period.

The year 2025 reflects a strong shift in thinking, decisive action, and a spirit of unity throughout the PV GAS system. The Corporation has successfully implemented four major breakthroughs: Shifting the business model; aggressively expanding into international markets; restructuring the organizational structure towards a lean and efficient model; and strengthening governance, optimizing costs, and definitively resolving many long-standing issues.

All member units of PV GAS are operating profitably. Administrative expenses decreased by 5% while revenue increased by 27%, demonstrating the clear effectiveness of management and cost reduction. Average employee income is estimated to increase by 21% compared to 2024, contributing to strengthening the confidence, motivation, and commitment of the workforce.

These results not only mark a special milestone in PV GAS's 35-year journey of formation and development, but also lay a solid foundation for a new growth phase, aiming towards the goal of becoming a regional energy industrial enterprise.

Strategic direction for the new development phase

Entering 2026, a pivotal year for the next phase of development, PV GAS recognizes that sustainable development requires not only rapid growth but also a long-term, solid, and in-depth approach.

The strategic focus is defined as follows: Market development, proactive infrastructure investment, actively seeking upstream investment opportunities, M&A, expanding the product portfolio, increasing enterprise value and resilience to market fluctuations, developing new growth drivers, promoting innovation, applying science and technology, digital transformation, continuing comprehensive restructuring, and building a modern, transparent, flexible governance system suitable for a regional energy industry enterprise.

Building on its established foundation, PV GAS aims to continue its strong growth in the coming period, striving to be among the Top 30 largest companies in Southeast Asia (Fortune Southeast Asia 30) during the 2026-2030 period, thereby making a positive contribution to Petrovietnam's goal of being among the Top 500 largest companies globally (Fortune Global 500) by 2030.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Manh Hung, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrovietnam, emphasized the Group's impressive results in 2025, in which PV GAS contributed approximately 20% of the Group's revenue and 23% of its profit. He also acknowledged that PV GAS maintained double-digit profit growth despite falling oil prices, challenging market conditions, and a sharp decline in the proportion of low-priced gas sources, thus retaining its position as the Group's "profit champion".

In order to meet the development requirements of the new phase, Mr. Le Manh Hung suggested key directions for PV GAS.

Firstly, it is necessary to ensure close alignment between PV GAS's strategic objectives and the Group's overall objectives.

Secondly, proactively identify all obstacles and bottlenecks in order to find timely and effective solutions to overcome them.

Thirdly, a radical shift from fragmented thinking to an integrated energy mindset, developing within a multi-layered ecosystem with regional and global reach; constantly adapting, evolving, and clearly understanding the context and core values ​​to create breakthroughs in development.

Fourth, continue to develop the market, expand market share while improving the quality and sustainability of revenue.

Fifth, accelerate the progress and increase the efficiency of investment and M&A activities in line with strategic direction.

Sixth, strengthen research and application of science and technology, and promote the development of new products.

Finally, building a long-term talent strategy, while strengthening and enhancing corporate culture, is the foundation for sustainable development.

Determined to accelerate growth and create long-term value.

On behalf of the leadership and employees of PV GAS, Chairman of the Board of Directors Nguyen Thanh Binh respectfully acknowledged the directives and strategic directions from the Group's leadership. Chairman Nguyen Thanh Binh affirmed that PV GAS is entering a phase of strong acceleration in both scale and quality. After 5 years, the Corporation's revenue and profits have nearly doubled despite facing more difficulties than favorable conditions.

In the coming period, especially from 2026 onwards, PV GAS will comprehensively implement its development strategy, focusing on production and operation, investment as the foundation, market expansion as the driving force, and participating deeply and consistently in the entire closed-loop gas and LNG value chain from upstream to downstream. The total investment for key projects in this period is expected to exceed 100 trillion VND, creating a foundation for sustainable development beyond 2030, with a vision to 2050.
