Tet gifts brought back to the village.

In Thai Nguyen in the days leading up to Tet (Lunar New Year), the weather is truly pleasant. Gone is the biting cold, and the sky is bright with sunshine, adding to the vibrant colors of spring. In the remote villages, in places still facing hardship, this Tet is truly heartwarming as many households have received meaningful gifts.

Bringing the spirit of Tet (Vietnamese Lunar New Year) to the highlands.

From mid-December of the lunar calendar, many charitable groups from across the country have traveled to the highland villages of Thai Nguyen to organize meaningful activities to celebrate the Lunar New Year. One of the recently organized charitable activities was the "Sharing Tet 2026" trip by the youth of the Ministry of Finance to Mo Ba village, Quang Son commune.

The Mỏ Ba school, where the majority of students are from the Hmong ethnic group, was a stopover for the compassionate youth union members from the Finance sector. They organized an early Tet (Lunar New Year) celebration for the students by making traditional green sticky rice cakes and sharing a warm meal with them.

In a warm atmosphere, the volunteer group also donated desks, chairs, equipment, school supplies, and essential goods to the school, totaling 120 million VND. Sharing with those facing hardship, the volunteer group also presented 17 gift packages to students (1 million VND each).

Comrade Nguyen Trong Hieu, Secretary of the Party Committee of Quang Son commune, shared: "We are very happy that the people in the commune have received attention from kind-hearted people during the Tet holiday. The sharing of the community has both material and spiritual value, and is a driving force helping poor and near-poor households and policy beneficiary families in the locality to improve their lives."

No one should be left behind.

The mountainous commune of Trang Xa is quite bustling during the twelfth lunar month as the activity of giving gifts to poor households and families entitled to preferential policies is organized solemnly.

Starting two weeks ago, in addition to visiting homes and personally handing out Tet gifts to families in particularly difficult circumstances, local leaders also organized a program to present Tet gifts to families of war heroes and martyrs.

In addition to mobilizing several businesses and charitable groups to donate Tet gifts to the people, the commune also distributed 153 gifts from the President and 145 gifts under Resolution No. 27 of 2025 of the Provincial People's Council to people with meritorious services and families of martyrs in the area.

According to Comrade Duong Quoc Toan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the commune, each gift given not only demonstrates sharing and the principle of remembering one's roots, but also embodies the spirit of "leaving no one behind"...

Thanks to the attention of the Party and the State, the Tet atmosphere in the highland villages and communes, which still face many difficulties, is warmer and more joyful.

To ensure adequate support for people in disadvantaged areas, starting from the end of 2025, the Provincial People's Committee decided to allocate over 37.7 billion VND from the 2025 budget (central and local) to provide gifts from the Party and State on the occasion of the 14th National Congress of the Party and the Lunar New Year of the Horse in 2026.

Accordingly, those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution, social welfare beneficiaries, retirees, and vulnerable people will receive gifts in cash at a rate of 400,000 VND per person.

As Tet (Lunar New Year) 2026 approaches, in the warm atmosphere of spring, people in the highlands feel further motivated to strive forward thanks to the abundant Tet gifts and meaningful care and sharing.
