
According to Vo Dang Dung, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the Thanh Xuan District People's Committee, the district will, according to the plan, fully and promptly inform and publicize to the people the reasons and necessity for rearranging and reorganizing administrative units at all levels and building a two-tiered local government organizational model. This will create high consensus and unity among the Party committee, the government, and the local people.
Specifically, the District People's Committee is seeking opinions from voters on the proposed arrangement of the new ward administrative unit to be formed in Thanh Xuan District; and on the proposed name of the new administrative unit. The Ward People's Committee will establish groups to gather public opinions based on neighborhood units; the group leader will be the Party branch secretary or the neighborhood unit leader; the group members will be representatives of political and social organizations and reputable residents in the neighborhood unit. The group leader will assign members to visit households to distribute opinion survey forms to household representatives or distribute opinion survey forms at neighborhood or area meetings to gather opinions.
The deadline for completion is April 21, 2025.
After gathering public opinions, the People's Committees of the wards will compile and report the results of the public opinion gathering in their areas to the District People's Committee; subsequently, the District People's Council will hold a meeting to approve the policy on rearranging and reorganizing the ward administrative units, no later than April 26, 2025.
Thanh Xuan District will also monitor the ideological situation and public opinion of officials, Party members, and the people in residential areas during the process of rearranging and reorganizing administrative units at all levels and building a two-tiered local government organizational model. This will allow for timely guidance in information dissemination, propaganda, and mobilization, aiming to create unity of understanding among officials, civil servants, employees, union members, and association members, thereby fostering high consensus and agreement among the local people.
* On the afternoon of April 18th, the Party Committee, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Dinh ward held a conference to gather public opinions on the reorganization of administrative units in Thanh Xuan district.
The People's Committee of Ha Dinh Ward has also issued a Decision to establish a Working Group to collect public opinions on the plan for rearranging administrative units at the ward level; and a Decision to establish a Group to collect public opinions on the plan for rearranging administrative units in the ward.
The ward conducts public and democratic consultations with voters, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and suitability to local conditions.
