Thanh Xuan District urgently seeks public opinion on administrative unit arrangement

Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the Thanh Xuan District People's Committee Vo Dang Dung said that according to the plan, the district will fully and promptly inform and disseminate to the people the reasons and necessity of rearranging and reorganizing administrative units at all levels and building a two-level local government model. Thereby, creating high consensus and unity between the local Party Committee, government and people.

Specifically, the District People's Committee asked for voters' opinions on the plan to arrange new ward administrative units that will be formed in Thanh Xuan District; and asked for opinions on the proposed name of the new administrative unit. The Ward People's Committee established groups to collect people's opinions according to the residential group area; the group leader is the Party cell secretary or the head of the residential group; the group members are representatives of prestigious political-social organizations and people in the residential group. The group leader assigned members to go to households to distribute opinion forms to voters representing the household or distribute opinion forms at residential group or area meetings to collect opinions.

Completion date no later than April 21, 2025.

After collecting public opinions, the People's Committees of the wards will synthesize and prepare a report on the results of collecting public opinions in the area and send it to the District People's Committee; then the District People's Council will organize a meeting to approve the policy of rearranging and reorganizing the ward administrative units, no later than April 26, 2025.

Thanh Xuan District will also grasp the ideological situation and public opinion of cadres, party members and people in residential areas during the process of implementing the arrangement and reorganization of administrative units at all levels and building a model of organizing a 2-level local government to promptly orient information, propaganda and mobilization, aiming to create a unified awareness among cadres, civil servants, public employees, union members and association members, thereby creating high consensus and unanimity among local people.

* On the afternoon of April 18, the Party Committee, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Dinh ward held a conference to collect public opinions on the arrangement of administrative units in Thanh Xuan district.

The People's Committee of Ha Dinh Ward also issued a Decision to establish a Working Group to collect public opinions on the project to rearrange administrative units at the ward level; Decision to establish a Group to collect public opinions on the project to rearrange administrative units in the ward.

The ward conducts public and democratic voter consultation, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and appropriateness to local conditions.
