Launched intergenerational self-help club in Noi Tay Law Village

On the afternoon of May 12, the Representative Board of the Provincial Elderly Association and the Elderly Association of Quang Lich commune (Kien Xuong) held a ceremony to launch the intergenerational self-help club in Noi Tay Law Village.
The Intergenerational Self-Help Club in Noi Tay Law Village is a voluntary social organization that gathers many people and ages in the community. Up to now, the club has attracted 75 members, of which 70% are elderly, the oldest is 80 years old, the youngest is 35 years old. In particular, the club gives priority to members of poor, near-poor households and people in difficult circumstances.
The club maintains regular activities once a month with the aim of improving the quality of life, while taking care and promoting the role of the elderly. In addition, club members can exchange information and raise awareness in all aspects; support each other when facing difficulties; get periodic health check-ups; participate in cultural exchange activities, arts, physical training and sports, practice nursing; loans at preferential interest rates for production development.
Leaders of Quang Lich commune handed over the decision to establish Intergenerational Self-Help Club in Noi Tay Law Village.
On this occasion, the Provincial Board of Representatives of the Provincial Elderly Association donated an equipment package worth 5 million VND to keep the club operating.
