On August 15, the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology decided to allocate 8 doses of DPT-VGB-Hib vaccine (185.000-in-5 vaccine) to 1 provinces and cities and will deliver to localities immediately. in August.
These vaccines are donated by the World Health Organization and the United Nations Children's Fund to Vietnam to serve the expanded immunization work for children.
Previously, 72.300 doses of 5-in-1 vaccine were also provided to 14 northern mountainous provinces from domestic funding to deploy vaccination in August.
Thus, 63/63 provinces and cities will receive 5-in-1 vaccine in August and localities will deploy DPT-VGB-Hib vaccination in regular vaccination in August and September 8. .
Previously, many localities across the country lacked many vaccines in the expanded immunization program, leading to many children missing vaccinations. Continuing to have vaccines for children helps children get vaccinated with full doses, on schedule, and effective disease prevention.
Doctors recommend that children who miss a shot need to go to the health station for instructions on the next vaccination.
