The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) has signed a contract with commercial partner SMC Group to host the 2025 Saudi Arabian Super Cup in Hong Kong. The tournament will take place from August 19 to 23 at the Hong Kong Stadium, which has a capacity of 40,000 seats.
The four leading clubs in Saudi Arabia – Al Hilal, Al Nassr, Al Ittihad, and Al Qadisiyah – will compete for this prestigious trophy. This event marks a new milestone in the tournament's international journey, aiming to build and strengthen global relationships, in line with the nation's grand ambitions.
Ibrahim Al-Qassim, Secretary-General of SAFF, emphasized the importance of this expansion: “This represents a qualitative shift for the tournament, which achieved considerable success in previous editions. The Saudi Arabian Super Cup has become one of the prominent tournaments attracting significant public attention.”

According to numerous sources in Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo is preparing to sign a contract extension with Al Nassr, allowing him to stay at the club at least until the end of the 2026 World Cup. With the ambitious goal of scoring 1,000 career goals, Ronaldo seems to still have a lot to offer.
If Ronaldo signs a new contract with Al Nassr, he will be one of the prominent names appearing at the Saudi Arabian Super Cup tournament in Hong Kong.
Back in April, Ronaldo also announced that he would be opening a museum called "CR Life" in Hong Kong, scheduled to open in July. More than just a trophy display, Ronaldo's museum promises to be a place to remember the goals and memorable moments of his career.
