NDO - On the evening of October 25th, at the Flamingo Dai Lai tourist area in Phuc Yen city, the opening ceremony of the Dai Lai Festival 2024 was held, featuring many unique cultural activities that attracted a large number of local people and tourists from within and outside Vinh Phuc province.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, Phan Tien Dung, affirmed that tourism is a strength of the locality, with Dai Lai Lake as its focal point, covering nearly 500 hectares of water surface and nearly 1,500 hectares of natural forest at the foot of Tam Dao mountain.
Many tourism projects have become popular destinations such as Flamingo Dai Lai, Dai Lai Golf Course, Ngoc Island Resort, Thanh Xuan Eco-tourism Area, and the 3C area of Dai Lai Lake. Phuc Yen City also promotes the value of historical and cultural relics and traditional festivals to serve tourism.

The city has approximately 2,500 accommodation rooms. The number of tourists in 2024 is estimated at 1.5 million, generating revenue of over 1,300 billion VND, a 15% increase compared to 2023.
The city is attracting businesses to invest in large-scale tourism projects such as: the Lap Dinh Lake tourism and service urban area covering over 500 hectares; the Bac Ngoc Thanh tourist area, a complex of ecological resorts, golf courses and entertainment services covering over 600 hectares; the high-end resort area west of Dai Lai Lake; the Bat Cave tourist area, etc.

On the opening night and throughout October 26th, numerous activities took place within the Flamingo Dai Lai complex, including the Lala Town street festival, a reenactment of the traditional customs of the San Diu ethnic group, stage performances, outdoor games, street food , Dai Lai sightseeing tours, and many other activities.
This evening, October 26th, in Tam Dao town, the People's Committee of Tam Dao district is organizing a series of activities to mark the 120th anniversary of the formation of Tam Dao town, with many attractive events.
Ms. Vu Thi Bich Ngoc, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tam Dao District, said: "The highlight of tonight is the 'Winter's Impression' music program, a drone light show, and a street food festival."
On this occasion, the People's Committee of Tam Dao district launched a songwriting contest about Tam Dao, a Tam Dao beautiful photo contest, and organized an exhibition of documents on the formation, construction, and development of Tam Dao town.

Tam Dao is gradually establishing itself as a national tourist area, a world-class destination town, and is expected to attract tourists even during the winter season.
Dai Lai, located in Ngoc Thanh commune, Phuc Yen city, along with Tam Dao town and Tay Thien scenic area, are three famous tourist destinations in Vinh Phuc province , becoming increasingly well-known both domestically and internationally.
